About Paul Irwin

I have 30 years experience in the Private Sector undertaking transport planning and traffic engineering work. After extensive experience gained in major multidisciplinary firms, we established Fore in 2011 aiming to be the leading independent consultancy in our field. At Fore we work with a range of developers, public sector organisations, planning consultants, property advisors and other collaborators and associates to advise on transport strategy and to analyse and solve transport problems. We seek to deliver excellence in all that we do, advising on strategic issues, unlocking development value, delivering schemes and achieving planning consents. We provide a Director-led service on all projects, and aim to deliver the best advice to our clients through a strong network of trusted stakeholder relationships. Our role is to help add, generate and unlock value for our clients, using our experience and skills to give the best advice. We analyse and assess transport and access needs, on a local and strategic level, and solve transport problems We work in partnership with our fellow professionals to deliver and communicate commercial solutions that unlock development We seek to deliver realistic outcomes, often within tight timescales We aim to provide our own brand of incisive and nimble professional transport planning advice Our objective is to be available and responsive to our clients and deliver a personable service with a “can-do” approach We aim to ensure that our clients receive the highest levels of service and satisfaction, using our extensive experience and skills to provide the best advice. Fore has 18 staff with offices in Leeds, Newcastle and London.
