The single most important aspect of my relationship with my clients is that they all know I have their back. They have one guy to call when a curve ball comes their way, whether the curve ball is insurance related or not. Yes, it takes time to develop such a relationship, but sometimes, you just know after that initial meeting or phone call, this guy gets it – and you feel a load off your shoulders. Whether our customer is a small tech start-up or a well-established operation with 200 employees, we devote the same effort and attention to understanding each of their unique needs, their culture and their goals. Most of our customers are small to mid-sized companies, 15 to 250 employees. They want to treat their employees right - without going overboard. Why? Because they know that high turnover is terribly costly for any business and dramatically inhibits growth and opportunity. I see what the marketplace landscape looks like and how it’s evolving and changing. The guys with foresight are the ones looking for ways to maneuver through these uncertain times we’re all facing – especially out of Washington.
