Background

About Paul Jaspers

I teach marketing-related subjects at the Institute for International Business Studies at the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands. Over the years I have developed a wide range of international e-learning projects in conjunction with top companies (i.e. Nike, Asics Tiger, Rabobank International, etc.), and top business schools from all over the world. I initially studied Chemical Engineering and Environmental Techniques at a technical college, then I received a full scholarship to study economics at UCLA. Later, in Holland, I earned a degree in Management Science, and in 1998 I completed didactical studies at the University of Utrecht. I am an innovator and a leader in the field of innovative e-learning projects and currently I have a strong research focus on ICT developments in African countries. I utilize the current bandwidth developments in these countries to promote South-North knowledge-sharing networks. Through this, improved connectivity, promoting peace, inspiration, understanding, and mutual respect – amongst other values – will change the world: strong tools for harmonization. Specialties: Initiating and managing international (educational) projects
