Video is the language of the digital age and social platforms have their own dialect and culture, sitting side by side with the largest streaming platforms on the same devices in peoples pockets. A startup has the same ability to reach its audience as the biggest brand. I'm a Dad, husband, dog owner and long distance runner. I'm used to digging deep, seeing the bigger picture and getting over the finish line successfully - whatever it takes. As a working class lad from Hull who has only ever worked hard and been honest, it's something I value above everything. Authenticity, humility and kindness. It matters. My background is in front of the camera, TV and film, and my first love is cinema. I grew up gorging on every video in Blockbuster, consuming everything from 70's Americana to 90's romcoms. I'm your greatest asset in a pub quiz. I started created my own short films just as the sprouts of online content started to emerge and have been lucky to form long lasting relationships with organisations, helping them curate video strategies and producing high level content, navigating the new digital frontier. Now with over a decades experience creating award winning live action and animated video campaigns for brands and NGO's including; Thoughtworks, Chatham House, UN IOM, HOKA, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic, IATA, BP - I have written, directed and produced all matter of film and video and it feels like the world is finally catching up. Realising that all content is equal.
