About Paul Jones

I'm a planning and community development professional based in Brooklyn, NY with 10 years of work experience spanning the local and federal levels of government, community based organizations, universities, and banking institutions. My education includes a 2019 undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and a 2022 Master of Urban and Regional Planning from University of Michigan's Taubman College in Ann Arbor, MI. Over the course of my career, I've led the creation of community engagement strategies, facilitated ongoing outreach and relationship-building with project stakeholders, assisted with program development and evaluation, developed knowledge databases and training materials, supported major grant programs at the institutional and federal levels, and written research memoranda on key planning and transportation policy issues. My career focus is sharpening the tools of the planning, urban policy, and development ecosystem in order to adapt and build communities and systems that effectively respond to 21st century challenges.
