About Paul Kapiya

I am an all-round Qualified Civil Engineering Technologist with skills in Buildings and Roads Construction Supervision, Labor Based Road Construction, Roads and Buildings Maintenance, Architectural and structural designs, Foundation Engineering, Landscaping, pavements Construction and Quantity Surveying for most types of Civil and Building works. I’m an avid CAD operator with proficiency in; • Autodesk's AutoCAD and Civil 3D • ArchiCAD • Artlantis Studio • Prota Structure and • Robot Structural Analysis. In my role as a Roads Technician, I'm responsible for maintaining both gravel and tarmac roads in Kawempe Division. This role requires proper knowledge of estimation of construction materials, leadership and planning skills, I'm also responsible for the welfare and prepare a monthly payroll of 34 men on our force account. I also participate in management and supervision of roads reconstruction and upgrading within the division.
