About Paul Kavanagh

Paul Kavanagh provides geotechnical and project management expertise for construction projects, predominantly in the transportation, building development and asset management sectors. Paul is conversant with the statutory planning process for infrastructure development in the UK and has served as an expert witness in support of highway schemes at public inquiry. He has particular expertise in the identification and management of ground risk relating to such projects. Paul has served as Discipline Team Leader for a number of major infrastructure development schemes, feasibility studies and pre-acquisition audits, covering a range of sites including highways, permanent ways, water and wastewater treatment works, impounding reservoirs, airfields, former industrial sites, residential developments and the redevelopment of urban areas. Paul undertakes his work with a clear commercial focus and seeks to understand and realise the project objectives with due regard to the management of value, risk and quality.
