Experienced CFO / Finance Director with a proven track record in high growth environment. I was responsible for the financial stewardship of Linesight from initial expansion and growth, through to managing the downturn, and re-inventing the business to be a truly global player, growing at +20% per annum. Formerly Bruce Shaw, Linesight provides consultancy services to the global construction industry, when I finished up as Finance Director, it operated from 18 offices in 12 countries, with a turnover of €90m and over 500 staff worldwide. Linesight was sold in October 2021 to IPS, a subsidiary of Alleghany Capital Corporation, USA. I played a key role in the entire sale process from pre-sale Vendor Due Diligence to Legal Due Diligence and deal close. Currently part-time CFO to an Irish SME (Meritec Ltd), and a consultant to Linesight on a part-time basis on various assignments. Also advising a number of companies on financial strategy as well being a Consultant preparing Reports to obtain funding for businesses under the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Digital for Business grant scheme.
