About Paul Kent

An original employee of Gfinity PLC which acquired my own Esports platform (TheWGL). I have been involved in Esports since 1996 running multiple online platforms and delivering 100's of offline events. These include games on all systems and working with many publishers and sports rights holders. Over 5 years of executive level experience running various divisions inside the company with vast experience in event and program execution for linear broadcast and online streaming from the ground up. At the heart of all if this is the tournament format and system design where I have continually delivered bespoke models for some of the worlds biggest rights holders. This includes designing and executing the F1 Esports Series, Formula E showcase event, Forza World Championship Global program, COD European Championships, Halo European Championships, EA FIFA championships, Battlefield World Premiere to mention just a few. I have a great passion and extensive successful experience in building grassroots communities organically from the ground up and developing them into global programs.
