About Paul Killick

Over 30 years experience in Mainframe Computer Operations. I have recently been working a contract at Santander in Milton Keynes as a Controlm Batch Operator, but this ended at the end of April 2016. I am currently working for IBM in Warwick, which I started in August 2016. This is a years contract, so always on the look out for a new position, preferably in the Midlands, but would consider anywhere in UK or abroad.(See Experience details). I worked in Bulgaria recently, helping HP with the knowledge transfer of our mainframe jobs at TNT. I was made redundant by TNT on Dec 31st. Have travelled the world watching and photographing wildlife. I'm a keen birdwatcher and gardener and would love to work in either area, maybe after I retire as a volunteer now. I have experience as a volunteer at RSPB reserve. I am half way through an Open University degree in Earth Sciences. I attend wartime re enactments I uniform. This has led to my recently being involved in the new "Dad's Army" movie, which was fantastic for me as im a member of the Dads Army appreciation society and attend events regularly, as I do with the Laurel and Hardy society. I'm on the extras website now and hope for future film and TV work I the near future. I'm a great fan or art, attending exhibitions regularly. I hope to take up painting again soon. My other many interests are Steam Railways, Archaeology, Astronomy, Photography, Theatre. Oh and I love Agatha Christie and attend the festival in Torquay every year.and I love Penguins.I am trying to see every one of the 17 species I the world, I've seen 10 species so far
