Having served 26 years in the Royal Navy I left in March 2012, I moved straight into the Maritime Security Industry where I stayed for 2 years, leaving as a Team Leader in 2014 to Join Norwegian Cruise Lines as a Firefighter. After 18 months I was promoted to Safety Officer where my responsibilities are ensuring the safety of all onboard, both passengers and crew. I take great pride in being able to work in such a multi cultural environment where the knowledge and experience gained over 30 years at sea is paramount to the safe working environments on cruise ships and within the cruise industry.
