I have been working on the project to transition the Robinson, Brunswick and Harris nuclear power plants to "National Fire Protection Association 805 Performance-Based Standard for Fire Protection for Light Water Reactor Electric Generating Plants." I have some experience in fire protection in a hospital environment being responsible for warnings on the alarm panel, turning off oxygen in case of a fire, being the first to respond, and performing routine fire drills. I want to obtain my Fire Protection Engineer master's degree and work in an environment that will provide me with challenges and a continuous learning opportunity.
