Over 25 years Software Engineering experience, reporting to CEO, COO and Director levels. Currently working for Google as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager for Cluster Lifecycle. Previously with NetScout as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, responsible for the full product lifecycle for our Big Data Product, nGenius Business Analytics, exploiting our Rich Telecoms Dataset yielding Great Analytics via a horizontally scaling Vertica Database and export into a Data Lake via a Kafka Export Service. I have substantial experience in Engineering and Project Management, delivering Large Scale Solutions to various clients across the globe, working with distributed teams, in a Big Data Telecoms volume context - involving substantial performance challenges. My role beforehand, was as the Chief Solution Architect for Tekcomms, supporting Sales Worldwide, and establishing the Engineering performance direction, and evaluating our product (Java, Oracle) performance in customer's sites. Prior to that worked as Engineering Manager for Tekcomms leading a team of 50 people through all Product, Development and Deployment stages, winning our first customer and growing the company to 25 customers- Responsible for Programme, Project Management, Application Development, Testing, Deployment and Support. While in EDS I was Programme Manager for General Motors Customer Ordering team, responsible for the full Development Life Cycle of several products (Java, C++, SQL Server) for European customers.
