I stepped down after eight years as Vice President of Communications at the University of Chicago, where I led branding, marketing, and communications for one of the world’s leading academic and research institutions.I now split my time between advisory work, board service, and writing, including Nomadic Spirit, a publication exploring intentional travel and how the way we travel changes with experience.Over the course of my career, I’ve built communications businesses, advised senior leaders, and helped organizations navigate complex moments and opportunities. My work has ranged from founding and leading agencies to counseling executives and managing global communications programs for major brands and institutions.I continue to host the University of Chicago’s Big Brains podcast, which explores groundbreaking research and ideas shaping the future.Across these efforts, my interests remain consistent: helping organizations and leaders communicate clearly, think strategically, and build trust with the audiences that matter most.I serve on the board of Chicago Public Media and advise several ventures and leadership teams. You can explore Nomadic Spirit at mynomadicspirit.com.
