Thank you for checking my LinkedIn profile, here is a bit about myself: I have been in a product development management role for a couple of years and I have more twenty years of experience in software development. I love working with people, helping them, coaching them and the highest satisfaction I can ask for is to see them succeed. My core competencies include team leadership, problem-solving, strategic planning and operational management. I assist in setting the strategic direction, ensuring the alignment of actions with goals, and managing the budget, staffing, and performance of the software development team. I also participate in software development work, provide end-to-end traceability, and contribute to RFP opportunities. I am passionate about mentoring and tutoring fellow developers, and championing change. I am trained in conflict management and experienced in dealing with concurrent priorities and team dynamics. I have a passion for training and coaching. I live in Prince Edward Island. I am an avid sea kayaker, instructor and coach, and PEI Director on the Board of Directors of Paddle Canada.
