I show the benefits but highlight the incredible risks of a professional relying on very unreliable advice in ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemina and other GPT models when they are the ultimate, reliable advice that a client is paying for. This GDLP equips aspiring Victorian law graduates with the ethical grounding, practical skills, and comprehensive knowledge required to excel in their chosen legal specialisations. With over 25 years of experience in law, I have had the privilege of contributing to the development and continual enhancement of this course from its inception. My commitment to refining and updating teaching materials ensures that both the curriculum and our students stay current with the dynamic nature of the legal profession. My contributions have significantly increased productivity through the independent creation of "compare and contrast" teaching resources, which form the backbone of our new learning management system. These resources not only streamline the teaching process but also provide enhanced feedback to our students. My efforts have substantially reduced the workload on mentors and freed up essential resources, contributing to a more efficient learning environment. I am dedicated to lifelong learning and professional development, currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to further enhance my instructional capabilities. My technical proficiency extends to Adobe Professional, which I utilize to edit and convert PDFs efficiently, ensuring our materials are always up to date. By embracing continuous improvement and leveraging modern educational technologies, I strive to provide an exceptional learning experience for all our students, preparing them to become ethical and skilled legal professionals.
