About Paul McKay
I started work in National Girobank in 1975. Although the bank changed ownership several times I stayed on site until voluntary redundancy in September 2013. I started as a clerical officer with administration duties until 1977, I switched careers into I.T. There were various posts that followed, Operations, Operations Support, Systems Programmer and finally Database Administrator. I took voluntary redundancy in Sept 2013 and after a break of 7 months I returned to employment as a pensions administrator at Diligenta, Liverpool. Over my 38 years career I gained excellent communication, organisation and project skills. Along side my I.T./ Pensions career I have also developed my artistic career. This has led to my involvement with several high profile installations in London, Liverpool and Chester. I was in a contract role with Virgin Media as a capacity planner from March 2015 to February 2018. After taking some time out, I started at Apple as a technical specialist in February 2019.
