About Paul Mischenko

All assets, be it financial / non-financial along with many contracts will eventually be tokenized or exist in a native digital form. This will remove frictions, increase liquidity, broaden inclusion and modernize the way value is exchanged. Following a career in financial markets Paul has been focused on blockchain, digital assets and crypto. Paul is currently investing, advising, trading: crypto/macro along with supporting his wife, Tatiana Mischenko in her efforts to build a business, Tatiana M Designs. Paul also has an interest in healthspan and wellbeing. Our health care system is broken, focus is on treating disease instead of prevention. Exercise, diet/nutrition/TRE and mindfulness are 3 key pillars in delaying the onset of disease and one's overall health and wellbeing. Previously, Paul was Managing Director, Head of FX and Electronic Trading across the Americas. Paul has expertise in all aspects of managing a large cross regional business, including: macro trading, risk management, business strategy / analytics, clients, electronic markets, trading platforms / liquidity, recruitment, graduate training, systems analysis / development / implementation, operations, payments/settlements, governance, control, regulatory reviews and remediation. Paul has embraced technology and innovation throughout his career being involved in multiple trading system designs, developments and implementations. Paul has extensive experience engaging with regulators. He led business reviews and successfully developed / implemented remediation plans. He increased trader client engagement, improved cross-regional connectivity, streamlined the FX product offering and grew revenues in both the FX and e-FX businesses. Paul is a CFA charter holder and has an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada. He recently completed the FinTech Course at Harvard, Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Applications course at MIT, Cryptocurrency and Disruption course at LSE and the Algorithmic Trading Program at Oxford.
