About Paul Mitchell Hoffman

As an investment recovery professional with nearly two decades of experience in the energy industry, I have managed value recovery activities for multiple companies, leveraging the inherent value of surplus assets, assorted equipment, transformers, line pipe, valves & fittings, scrap metal and used oils to the benefit of the company, shareholders and rate payers. I have supported major construction and demolition projects to assure that credit is received for surplus / salvage materials and equipment. I have been a member of the Investment Recovery Association since 2008 and served as director from 2014-2020. I led the Association as president from 2019-2020, having previously held the positions of vice president, treasurer and committee chair, as well as being a regular contributor to the Asset2.0 trade journal and publishing of "The Investment Recovery Handbook". Currently, I lead the Benchmarking committee for the Association, which looks at ways to best capture key metrics for investment recovery activities and programs through industry surveys, data analysis and report creation.
