Background
About Paul Moore
I have worked in the environmental and engineering geology field since 1981, and am a licensed Professional Geoscientist in the State of Texas and a licensed Professional Geologist in several other states. My experience includes the management and performance of groundwater and soil contamination investigations and corrective actions at Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (L.P.S.T.) sites in Texas and other states, RCRA Facility Investigations (RFIs) and Corrective Measures Studies, Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) for CERCLA sites (Superfund) and Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) sites for clients in the waste management, petrochemical, and chemical transportation industries in Texas and other states involving a variety of organic and inorganic contaminants. I am well versed in the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), Louisiana Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program (RECAP) as well as similar programs in other states. I have successfully completed investigations and response actions under these various state programs for a variety of land uses and geologic settings. My responsibilities also included estimating and managing project costs, preparing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for property transactions, groundwater and surface water resource availability studies for clients in the power generation and oil and gas industries, underground injection control (UIC) permit applications for Class I Non-Hazardous and Class V injection wells, and municipal, industrial, and hazardous waste permit applications. I have managed and conducted numerous geologic hazard investigations in Texas for residential and utility line sites, which involved the evaluation of geophysical and remote sensing data and ground level reconnaissance for evidence of active faulting, solution subsidence (sinkholes) and earth movement (ground creep and sliding), and performed and evaluated data from geophysical surveys for plume mapping and buried disposal areas.
