About Paul Muntean

I am a professional with more than 15 years of working experience in industry, academia, research & development. I am interested to learn, research, and apply new (or established): technologies, architectural patterns, processes, cyber defences/attacks and interact with folks which have proven real-world hands-on cyber/systems security design and protection experience. Thus, my long-term goal is to continuously grow, create impactful results and be an asset in any team I am part of. I enjoy building secure software systems and protecting them in order to solve real-world challenges. Challenges motivate me, passion drives me, and my drive pushes me far and beyond. Further, I have a strong background in algorithms, cyber security and data structures. Constant learner of new technologies, currently delving into deep learning, looking into all sorts of applications for cyber security. Lastly, in the past, while in academia, I mentored more than 50 students in different projects and helped students get internships at top tech FAANG companies. I successfully published in top tier security journals and conferences.
