Lecturer in DKIT. Quality Professional with managerial experience in busy manufacturing environments from food to nutritional products coupled with experience in all aspects of Quality and Environmental issues on a day to day basis and the compliance with company and legal requirements. I have implemented Quality, Health and Safety and Environment Management systems. I have vast experience in both leading teams and working as an individual on projects bringing them to successful completion, e.g. Business Continuity Programme for Irish Distillers, recertification to various ISO standards. I have working knowledge of relevant food and nutritional legislation and was a member of many groups within the Pernod-Ricard company that covered various operational, quality and legislation topics. I have been involved in monitoring these, reporting on them and proposing long term effective solutions on a daily basis. I have been personally involved in crisis situations with distributors and consumers and would have lead investigations on the ground to resolve such situations. I have worked with suppliers and service providers varying from glass suppliers to environmental monitoring laboratories from tender submission to granting contracts, along with the continual monitoring and review of said contracts. I have a wide range of auditing experience including ISO, Corporate, internal, GMP and supplier audits. Dedicated to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of quality and production.
