About Paul Oconnor
Mr. O'Connor is a 30 plus year veteran serving the most behaviorally complex students. His expertise with students, staff, and families to meet the educational, emotional, and behavioral needs is evident in his continuing practice. In the first half of his career, he worked for the NYC Dept of Education serving on multidisciplinary therapeutic and educational teams to tailor instructional and treatment plans for severely emotionally disturbed students. When his practice moved to Palm Beach Florida, he worked district-wide to ensure students and staff were appropriately equipped to provide meaningful education in the least restrictive environment. His works have helped to develop and design programs that continue to serve exceptional students well to this day. Recently, in Boca Raton FL, he is working to meet the needs of ASD Level 1 students within a comprehensive high school campus. His interagency knowledge is unsurpassed with regard to developing wraparound services to meet individual needs.
