I am an accomplished Civil Engineering Designer with extensive experience in the design of highways and earthworks, drainage solutions and rail track alignments. I am equipped with comprehensive design and drafting experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation as well as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads. I am able to oversee construction project lifecycles including, but not limited to, deliverables scheduling, special provisions to specifications, cost estimates, CAD management and design software training. I am a focused and self-starting Senior Designer with a proven ability to multitask independently, balance multiple projects and responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of engineering professionals while exhibiting strategic leadership in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. My Key Achievements include : • Utilized Bentley Railtrack to design track repairs and reconditions, station platform modernizations, and tamping projects for the London Underground Metro system. • Successfully completed the development of onshore gas facilities in the Middle East that included site grading and access roads using Bentley InRoads to produce CAD model and drawing deliverables. • Company award winning Lead Designer for the Syncrude Fine Tailings Fluid-Centrifuging Full-Scale Plant in Alberta, Canada which resulted in an outstanding performance for the project. Conducted a wide range of civil design while mentoring senior, intermediate and junior designers conducting software instruction, CAD modeling, and drawing management in Bentley InRoads. • Led, as a Senior Civil Designer, the Municipal Springwater Connector Project for the City of Portland, Oregon, USA which included the design of the municipal roads, sidewalks, ADA wheelchair access ramps, bicycle/multi use paths, drainage systems, cost estimates, and material take-off calculations.
