About Paul Oublon

PRT Engineer with 4.5 years of experience recognized by the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) in managing innovative projects in the fields of renewable energy and electronics. I have been working for the past 8 months in Montreal, QC, specializing in building mechanics and energy optimization. – As a PRT Engineer in Montreal, Quebec, I am managing ten (10) projects in the areas of energy auditing, commissioning, and industrial projects, with ongoing contracts totaling over $3k. I have applied for grants totaling more than $2M from Transition Énergétique Québec, Hydro-Québec, and Energir. I have also drafted three (3) ASHRAE level 1 and 2 audit reports, in both French and English, as well as two (2) commissioning plans and specifications. – During my 3 years and 8 months engineering project in electronics, I collaborated with three partner laboratories, including one on an international scale. Utilizing my expertise, we explored the optical and electronic properties of semiconductors such as gallium arsenide and aluminum-gallium arsenide in the temperature range of 150 to 200°C. This effort resulted in four presentations and one paper at prestigious conferences. – As a project management intern, I supervised eight workers and three phases of the site during the refurbishment of the AMETYST methanization unit in Montpellier, France; representing a €10M contract for the client and a 50% increase in the site’s energy production. I look forward to opportunities as a PRT R&D Engineer, Project Engineer, and Methods Engineer, particularly in the fields of electronics and renewable energy.
