Product Cost Leader - ITO & Projects, I drive the development of strategies which achieve targeted cost savings across combined cycle power plant for the GE Gas Power. I work in close collaboration with Product Management, Sourcing and Engineering leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize, and drive rapid implementation and cut-in to enable savings. Previously as the Engineering Manager for Accessories, Systems & Packaging - Mechanical Systems Engineering team, I was responsible for leading projects and programs covering inlets, exhausts, enclosures, ventilation, starting-means, and base-structures for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator products lines. I was also responsible for managing the Product Cost Out target, which includes handbook cost as well as requisition cost savings.Previously, I was the Technical Leader for the Electrical & Instrumentation team for Gas Turbine Accessories and was responsible for leading a global project execution team, whose responsibilities include system level execution, delivering hardware which meets project requirements and on time delivery of Customer drawings.Through my previous role in regulatory compliance, I gained extensive knowledge of the complete scope of equipment provided by GE's Thermal business and have a good understanding of Power Generation products.In addition, I am co-owner of PRO Sportsplex, LLC, a real estate holding company, co-owner of 17Co Baseball Performance Center, LLC, a business specializing in baseball and softball training and Director of PRO Travel Ball, a 501 (C)(3) organization focused on baseball travel teams.
