About Paul P. Dunay

Mr. Dunay specializes in designing and maintaining Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He is proficient in the use of Esri’s ArcGIS mapping software, ArcSDE, and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) as well as working with computer aided-design (CAD) data in a GIS environment. He uses his experience with GPS and GIS to collect and develop spatial data, create maps, and perform environmental impact analyses for various natural gas energy and electric utility projects. He has field experience with data collections for streams and wetlands and processing using Trimble GPS hardware and Pathfinder Office software, including differential corrections, data exports into GIS, and data imports for use with GPS units in the field. Other field experience includes Post-Construction Monitoring, Infiltration Testing, Pre/Post-Construction Residential Water Sampling, and Soil Sampling. Besides working as a consultant, Mr. Dunay has experience working in county government having roles in both the Assessment and Planning Department Office. In addition, he has experience in real estate as a realtor and an appraiser trainee for the state of Pennsylvania. In his free time, he enjoys to practice martial arts. He currently Co-owns and manages a martial arts school in Scranton, PA.
