Finance:Direct all financial planning, policies, procedures, software, and control processes to meet local efficiencies and legislative requirements.Develop and recommend annual budgets for approval by Executive Committee and Partnership. Annual, quarterly and monthly financial reportsProvide financial and operational recommendations for strategic business plan projections.Develop and execute migration from parallel to single on-line accounting system.(PC Law to Elite Enterprise) Co-ordinate all Law Society and Professional Indemnity requirements. Human resource: Provide leadership and guidance to a staff of up to 40 employees.Supervise all human resource responsibilities including recruitment, dismissals, payroll, administer group medical and LTD benefit plans, co-ordinate performance reviews and recommend salary changes for staff, chair staff meetings, co-ordinate and chair Health & Safety Committee meetings and develop local policy guide. Facilities: Manage all premises and furniture needs, including renovation projects from planning to fit-out; equipment leases; procurement of furniture such as office furniture, boardroom tables/chairs and artwork; and co-ordinate repairs as necessary.Co-ordinate renovation and move from 19,750 sqft space to sqft space in new location –; Supervise IT maintenance with in-house and third party IT service providers, including LAN, WAN (migration to new Disaster Recovery system 2011-2012), phone system (migration from Nortel PBX to VoIP system 2012), and PC hardware/software (planning for migration to Office 2010 and Citrix in Fall of 2012).
