About Paul Pickering

As a dedicated IT professional with over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, I specialise in 2nd and 3rd line application support, data systems, and technical solutions within validated environments. My career has been defined by a passion for optimising systems, streamlining workflows, and delivering robust data insights that drive better business decisions. With a strong foundation in software engineering, I’ve led the development of bespoke tools in C#, optimised SQL procedures to dramatically enhance performance, and managed ERP integrations using Talend. I’m also well-versed in business intelligence tools such as Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, and ManageEngine Analytics Plus. Whether mentoring junior colleagues, liaising with stakeholders, or leading data governance efforts, I bring a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. I thrive in complex environments and enjoy turning technical challenges into efficient, user-focused solutions.
