I have a passion for continuous improvement and learning new skills (currently teaching myself horticulture, in particular hazelnut and hops growing). I enjoy leading teams to understand problems and bring innovative solutions to the table. I bring exceptional professional integrity, ensuring positive reputation management and risk mitigation to any project/organisation. My primary approach is to build trusting and productive relationships. My experiences are within a range of industries including large corporate organisations, small/medium enterprise and education, as a Product Owner, project and programme manager, developer and a technical IT manager. This wide range of experiences allows me to fit into any team quickly – from purely business-focused to highly technical – and to successfully deliver strategic, business, technology and organisational changes as needed. My value when joining any team is my ability to rapidly understand the dynamics and issues and adapt my approach to the needs of the team and organisation. My broad range of skills and experiences gives me an ability to adapt and adjust my ways of working to fit the situation. I take a long view approach in my work, looking beyond the short term and immediate gains, which often come at the expense of the long term sustainability of the organization or product.
