Paul Rombough

Background

About Paul Rombough

I am an enthusiastic educator at heart, a creative perfectionist in mind and soul, and a technological natural. Early interests in literary and media studies, film, mathematics, history and travel, contributed to my repertoire as a high school teacher, where I worked in a variety of settings, in the north amongst the Inuit and the Cree, as well as in boards in and around Montreal. My natural abilities working with software, hardware, and artistically as a graphic designer, combined with a penchant for curriculum design, allowed me to take my students to places unheard of at the time. Work as a webmaster/web designer/programmer and project manager in the private sector eventually led back to consultant work for the Kativik School Board. Then, since 2006, I have been LEARN's provincial Social Sciences consultant, where I develop, organize, promote and present resources and educational strategies that support teachers in Quebec. In this position I have also offered over 50 different workshops over the years, to teachers and other professionals in the education sector.
