About Paul Simons

My name is Paul Simons and I am a Civil and Sanitarian Engineer (Post graduate in Sanitation and Public Health) with more than 30 years of experience in the area of operation of basic sanitation ( sewage and drainage) I was born in the United States of America on 23/05/1972, and returned to Brazil (my mother's country) in 1975. My professional life started early in Brazil and I was able to work with my father in his Mechanical Workshop in Santos, São Paulo developing all the work relevant to the job. When I finished high school at the age of 17 (early 1990) l went back to Massachusetts, USA to visit my family and work Initially I joined Cerretanis Super Markets Inc. where I was a packer and trolley collector in the parking lot, after which l got a job as a general helper in a major construction of a water treatment plant in Lynn-MA at Brinderson Corporation (Laborers International Union of North America). l returned to Brazil in 1990 to attend the University of Civil Engineering. I did some internships in the area of Sanitation and in 1994 l was admitted through a public contest for the position of general helper in the sanitation company of the State of São Paulo-Sabesp and was approved in the company in the area of sewage network maintenance in Santos, São Paulo where I was a general helper, building installation tax, service programmer, in charge and finally Engineer responsible for 220 employees until 2013 when I was invited by the Mayor of Santos to work in the Environment area as Environmental Control Coordinator at the Santos Department of the Environment. During this period from 2013 to 2019 l provided several consultancies to engineering companies in several municipalities. And finally on October 5, 2019 l was invited by the President of the basic sanitation company of the State of Pará (state in northern Brazil) to be his advisor, working in the area of operation and maintenance, until now. l would like to put myself at your disposal to work for your company, please find my Resume attached.
