Immersed in Bankruptcy, restructuring and financial workout issues since 1983. Serving as a Chapter 7 Trustee since 1983 handling well over cases of consumer and business liquidations. Past Chair of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditors Rights Section of the Sate Bar of Wisconsin and a co-founder of the Annual Bankruptcy Retreat held in Kohler Wisconsin for the last 25 years drawing Bankruptcy experts from around the country to address the Section members. Past President of the State Bar of Wisconsin with relationships with lawyers around the State and country. I handle complex restructuring strategies for individuals and businesses, with a team of partners and associates who have seen it all. We analyse financial viability of businesses in trouble and determine whether changes can be instituted, capital brought to bear or courses changed to salvage or rehabilitate the enterprise. We also represent individual owners of business deal with the fallout from such an event. We like to think we can do this efficiently and in a cost effective manner given our agility and experience as well as our fee structure and a rational view of the clients financial resources. I and the firm have been heavily involved in agricultural restructurings and reorganizations from the mid 1980's. We understand dairy, cash cropping, the cheese industry and related agri-businesses, having represented countless (or too many to count) farmers and dairy manufacturers over the years. Indeed, we believe that we have a depth of experience in agricultural workouts unparalleled by any other upper Midwest law firm.
