About Paul Telfer

Paul Telfer is the Director for International Conservation Communication and Public Relations for the Sabine Plattner African Charities (SPAC). SPAC helps protect nature through education and community-driven empowerment and supports African governments with Early Childhood Development, Research and EduConservation programs. Paul possesses leadership, strategic and organizational skills, that are applied in multifaceted projects implemented through conceptualization, design, planning, management and monitoring. Broad experience in project management in west and central Africa (3.5 years in Sierra Leone; 9 yrs in Gabon, 6+ years in the Republic of Congo) including multinational conservation projects, research programs and administration of Country Programs. Project management skills include human resource management, finance, fund raising, public relations and the capacity to develop strong networks within communities as well as government.
