Paul Thomas, MBA, FCMI. Consultant and strategic Leader An enthusiastic, confident, and highly experienced senior care leader, Manager and Director with excellent qualifications and an outstanding knowledge of the health and social care field, from the practical to the strategic level. I have achieved my master’s MBA which guides my strategic practices and philosophy. This will be surpassed only by my current studies in a Level 8 Charted Management Institute Diploma in strategic leadership and direction. My understanding of safeguarding is excellent, and this can be seen in my level 4 and 5 in safeguarding management. A deeply held belief in the philosophy and values of Person-Centred approaches has underpinned my 22 years of experience in the care sector where I have worked from support work through management to directorship. This experience has taken in Registered management of concurrent projects, Responsible individual, Vice Principle, culminating in Senior management and strategic roles for the last 15 years. My career has consisted of working with both children and adults, with excellent knowledge of CQC regulations. Within this time, I have been involved in training, both from a practical, strategic and development viewpoint. I have much experience in change management and am a creative solution focused thinker. I have a Fellow award from the Chartered Management Institute, which guides my practice.
