As a Marketing Communications Specialist Intern at Chicago Urban League, I contributed to the organization's mission of advancing economic, educational, and social progress for African Americans in the Chicago area. I developed and implemented effective social media strategies, campaigns, and content to increase awareness, engagement, and donations for the organization's programs and services. I leveraged my skills and knowledge in social media marketing, communications, and creativity, which I acquired from my major in Business Sales and Marketing at Xavier University of Louisiana and from multiple certifications from LinkedIn and HubSpot Academy. I also applied my experience as an Employment Specialist Intern at the same organization, where I helped job seekers with resume writing, interview skills, and career development. My goal is to continue learning and growing; and to use my talents to make a positive impact in the community.
