About Paul Venter

I am a strategically oriented property professional with international experience in multiple facets of the development cycle in both public and private sectors. Curiosity drives me which allowed me to develop a diverse set of skills to help me drive quality outcomes in development projects. I am particularly passionate about how we shape our cities and neighbourhoods, as it is a manifestation of the kind of humanity we bring to bear. So much depends on this, not only environmental impacts but our social wellbeing, economic vitality, sense of community and human connection. Throughout my career I have worked on large and complex programmes of work in property development management, site acquisition, statutory and environmental planning, stakeholder engagement, system design, and project management. My multi-cultural background equipped me with strong emotional intelligence and a strong cultural awareness. Outside of work you will find me tinkering on some DIY project – from wood and leather working to cooking, gardening, and playing music. I also like mountain biking for a bit of a challenge and an excuse to get into the great outdoors.
