As Continuim Equity Partners' Vice President of Portfolio Operations concentrating on providing operational and strategic leadership to the firm's portfolio companies and management teams with a focus on implementing Lean Manufacturing to transform the shop floor, increase capacity, lead integrations and drive improved financial results. Joined Merlot Vango Tarping Solutions as Vice President Operations as an operating partner with Continuim Equity Partners. During time at Merlot, focused to implement Lean manufacturing throughout operations leading to more than doubling the manufacturing capacity. Worked with team to reduce waste throughout process (overproduction, waiting, transporting, processing, inventory, motion, and defects) including a focus on improving interdepartmental communication. Hired with Watson Standard in June of 2016 as Director of Operations. Tasked with oversight of all production facilities. Lead change initiative throughout operations, including upgrade of ERP, streamlining manufacturing process, storage and flow of materials and increased capacity, through partnering with extremely talented and dedicated employees. Promoted to Vice President Operations as part of sale of company to lead integration of company's formulations and equipment to The Sherwin-Williams Company. Formerly worked as Production Manager in Chester, SC with OMNOVA Solutions. Held positions developing new specialty products and processes in pilot facility. Leading Six Sigma Blackbelt projects intenal as well as assisting customers on large array of projects. Leaning out and optimizing prodution proceses for chemicals in the carpet, paper, non-woven, specialty, textile and paint markets. Managing flow of production of over 300 products using over 300 raw materials while reducing inventory to record levels at facility.
