About Paul Walker

Founded Quantified Athlete Ltd to deliver Sports Performance Solutions; we use our knowledge of sport science, coaching and technology to solve complex problems in sports environments. This work has seen us involved in multiple large scale projects requiring a range of skills including project management, international logistics and product development. Projects include improving pit stop performance in Formula 1, record-breaking swim events and performance gym development. These roles followed a 16 year athletic career as a pole vaulter, much of which was successfully combined with University education. Awarded a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering and a PhD in Sports Technology from Loughborough University. Athletic achievements include Welsh indoor record holder and representing Wales at two Commonwealth Games. 20 years experience of elite sport and 10 years experience as a mentor, educator and coach. A broad skillset and adaptable to working in a variety of environments. Analytical and strategic, at ease solving problems in high pressure environments due to a lifetime of competing and working in high-level sport.
