An enthusiastic, self motivated and ambitious Electronics Engineer, with extensive electronic, electrical, mechanical, theoretical and practical experience in the following industries - motion control, process control, robotics & automation, control engineering, BMS/BEMS systems (hardware/firmware/software), fibre optic cable manufacturing, CCTV Security systems, Fire Alarms systems, PA/VA systems, Intruder & access systems, thermal processing (semiconductor wafers), Reflow Ovens (SMT), Furnaces (thick/thin film etc) and Alternative Energy equipment (Photo Voltaic & Fuel Cells). A tenacious achiever who thrives on a challenge. Works well in a team and equally as well unsupervised. Has excellent customer facing skills and enjoys seeing total customer satisfaction by following projects from conception to completion, and then on to any after-sales support, has travelled extensively around the world to achieve these goals. Extremely conversant with a wide range of voltage systems from low level dc logic right through to 3 phase supplies at 415V with powers up to 1.5MW. Thermal equipment ranges from -40 to +2500°C. Water cooling/chiller systems. Generators/Power delivery. Gas delivery systems/MFC’s – air, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, helium, chlorine etc, and CVD/MCVD systems. Very computer literate- Desktop / Industrial PC’s and PLC based control systems. Skills include building them from component parts, installing, commissioning and fault finding/repairing them (to component level). Specialties: The design, development and production of stepper motor drives, dc servo motor drives and motion control systems. The installation, servicing, calibration, preventative maintenance of SMT Reflow Ovens/Furnaces (BTU and others), and Fibre Optic Cable manufacturing equipment (Heathway). The operation and programming of Satchwell/Schneider and Trend BMS/BEMS systems.
