Driven by a passion for fostering inclusive, equitable workplace cultures and enhancing employee development, I am excited to be embarking on my Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) at Queen's University this September 2025. This next step aligns perfectly with my goal to contribute to impactful HR and labour relations strategies. Currently, I am gaining valuable experience as a Compensation Intern at Veolia, supporting global HR initiatives and leveraging tools like Salesforce and Tableau for data management and actionable insights. Simultaneously, as a Labour Relations Research Assistant at York University, I am exploring critical workplace issues, including the impact of technology on employee well-being. These roles, combined with my BCom background, provide a strong foundation in HR operations, research, and data analysis. My experience also includes leadership in event management, notably as VP of Finance for the HRSA, where I spearheaded professional development events that increased student engagement by 50% and managed significant budgets. This, along with previous experience in the financial sector honing client relationship management, has given me a unique perspective on engagement, operational excellence, and achieving results. As I continue to pursue my CHRP designation and prepare for the MIR program, I am eager to connect with professionals and organizations focused on innovative HR, talent management, labour relations, and building thriving, supportive work environments. My journey, shaped by both professional experiences and a deep personal understanding of the importance of workplace support, fuels my commitment to making a positive difference.
