I am an experienced clinical sonographer serving as the General Manager for Professional Development, Clinical Standards, and Research. With a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, I oversee the strategic direction and operational aspects of professional development, research initiatives, and clinical standards development. My focus is on equipping members with the latest skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of delivering optimal patient care and their own professional development.Prior to my role at ASA, I was an academic at CQU, teaching into both the undergraduate and post graduate sonography programs. As a passionate educator, I designed and delivered engaging courses, tutorials, and lectures that empowered students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their careers. My pedagogical approach emphasised hands-on learning, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices, equipping the next generation of sonographers to meet the challenges of working within a healthcare environment confidently.I have extensive clinical experience as a specialist sonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at RBWH. My role focused on delivering high level sonographic examinations within a multidisciplinary team. A firm believer in lifelong learning, I actively seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skillset. I was awarded Fellowship with ASA in 2022 and am a 2025 Churchill Fellow. I am dedicated to collaborating with experts in the field, participating in research projects, and contributing to academic publications to advance the field of sonography and clinical education.
