About Paula Leighton

I am a passionate, focused individual with over 10 years of teaching/facilitating experience with diverse populations. During that time I designed workshops, materials, as well as presentations for large audiences. I've also had the opportunity to work alongside different clients with varied cultures and abilities, and have used innovative strategies to work effectively in one-on-one or large groups. Whatever situation I find with clients, I strive to create meaningful learning experiences that assess their needs and empower them to reach their goals. I believe in a strength based approach, where clients are able to overcome their barriers through coaching, facilitating and group learning. Additionally, I have a strong desire to collaborate with co-workers and have co-facilitated several events. For me the team atmosphere is really important. I love the feeling of a positive work environment, where everybody benefits. My clients, as well as co-workers, appreciate my sense of humour and willingness to go above and beyond. One of my best gifts is being able to stay positive and focused while helping others through difficult transitions.
