About Paula Mayor

Since 2001, I have enjoyed working in Business Development and Project Management with New World Generation (NWG). NWG is a Research and Development company that focuses on Renewable Energy and Energy Management Solutions. NWG's subsidiary Company, Blue Box Technology, focuses on Waste Heat Management and Combined Heat and Power Systems. It has been a privilege to Chair this Board since 2019. Some highlights of my 23 year career in Business Development; In 2005, my job was to help build a new medical device division at MPR Associate Engineering. This was ground breaking work in the field of health care. We had the privilege to work with start up companies and the well established, our team helped create technology devices to improve critical care, cancer testing and screening. Upon completion of Project Management training, In 2009 I was given the opportunity to oversee the detailed design of a 2.5MW wind turbine, alongside McLaren Engineering. This experience was invaluable, and entailed a tremendous amount of work, communication and drive. What became clear was that all forms of energy have a place in the mix, and my interest in Energy Storage, and Combined Heat and Power Cycles became the focus of my career. Throughout my work experience, regardless of industry, what stood out is that ingenuity always comes from necessity. Today, it is critical to use energy wisely. In addition to Renewable Sources of Energy, the door is open to use existing infrastructure better. The work we are doing here at Doherty Engineering is to identify solutions to help industry do just that, improve processes, add energy saving equipment, move toward electrification, add independent power systems, back up power, reduce emissions and energy storage. Doing this, while saving money and resources is achievable.
