Trilingual English-Portuguese-French award-winning professional with 10+ years of extensive experience in all kinds of content communication area and media operations, including creating new non-fictional series, text editing, content editing, and screenwriting for TV series, documentaries, and social media videos. Excellent writing and storytelling, presentation, and research skills, with an understanding of how to effectively communicate to different audiences, performing in various roles such as Producer, Live Event Coordinator, Presenter, Interviewer, Reporter, and International Correspondent. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and highly organized with strong administrative and time management skills. Graduated in Social Communication at PUC-RJ, with a specialization in TV & Cinema Executive Production from ESPM-RJ and in Scriptwriting and Fiction Genres from Robert McKee's seminars, Paula Muniz served as Artistic and Content Coordinator for the GNT, Viva, and Mais na Tela between 2007 and 2022, being responsible for the creation, selection, and supervision of fiction and non-fiction projects for TV and WEB. She has already coordinated more than 100 documentary series and about 10 fiction productions, including As Canalhas (Bitches), a format purchased by Hulu. Paula Muniz was the executive editor of Manhattan Connection, the first original program on Brazilian pay TV. In 2018, she coordinated 02 special programs in partnership with the Disney Company and Yellow Shoes, recorded at Walt Disney World Resort, in Florida. Paula was on the GNT team of the series Mothern, nominated for the International Emmy Awards in the best drama series category, in 2007. In 2020, the documentary A Cozinha do Amanhã, of which Paula was the coordinator, won a bronze medal at the New York Film Festival in the category Documentary Biography/Profile. In 2022, the documentary Elza Infinita, also under her coordination, won the silver medal in the same NYFF category. Currently, Paula lives in the United States and works as a freelancer.
