I began working at Gastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopy at UC Health in Fort Collins in October 2015. I also worked at the Little Clinic walk in clinic in Fort Collins from July 2015 to October 2015. From 9/2013 until 6/2015, I was a Nurse Practitioner at the Centers for Gastroenterology in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have also worked at the CSU Health Network Clinic, providing care for the CSU students and their families. I began this position in August 2010 after a year working as a hospital site inspector for Surgical Review Corporation. My career also includes five years of experience in a Family Practice office/clinic setting as a Nurse Practitioner. I have 6 years experience in a specialty practice with bariatric patients. I have four years experience in rehab and long term care where I provided primary care to an adult population. I have taught patho-physiology in a college setting to advanced practice nursing students. I have experience assisting with the management of a diverse group of health care staff including, LPNs, RNs, CNAs, MAs, Dieticians, and Pharmacists. I have also enjoyed the role of precepting Nurse Practitioner students. I have public speaking experience, taught at the college level, and presented case studies and posters at national conferences. I have given a quarterly lecture on obesity sensitivity to health care professionals. I have Nurse Practitioner Licensure and Prescriptive Privileges in Colorado. I am wound care certified through WOCNCB. My professional organization is the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
