About Paula Windmill

My experience in the health and social care sector spans over a decade. This has mainly been in the provision of residential care for older people. I now run a smaller home and can use all my previous experience in my new role and look forward to moving the home foward in all ways, watch this space. I have gained much experience and grown as the Unit Manager-Dementia Specialist of Ashton Lodge Nursing Home, a Nursing Care Home specialised in the provision of excellent care to older people living with dementia. In view of the current focus on dementia and the expected rise in demand for this type of service, my current goal is to enhance the knowledge and skill of the entire staff team and to develop innovative ways of delvering quality service at an excellent standard to meet the needs of current/prospective residents and other stakeholders.
