Background

About Pauline Grimault

Graduated from INSA de Lyon as engineer in August 2020 (master level), I am actually pursuing an Advanced Master at ESSEC Asia Pacific Singapore : Strategic Management and International Business. I have a keen interest in the video game industry, especially in project management and producing. As a strategic manager with a technical engineering background, I have the required competencies to work as project delivery manager. My 6 months internship at Ubisoft HQ as gameplay developer gives me a good overview of how the video game production is working and gives me skills in development, game design and level design, while confirming my desire to work in this industry. Following this experience, I decided to pursue my studies with an advanced master's degree at ESSEC Business School in order to gain the strategic management and business skills that I need to achieve my goal of becoming a project manager. Indeed, I am involved in the gaming community in many different ways: I am also an active member of Women In Games. As part of the eSport Team, we organise events in order to promote gender diversity in the gaming industry. I am also a head recruiter and coordinator for the largest french Overwatch community (partner with Millenium and Discord). I am dedicated person in my work and for my team. Very easy speaking and enthusiastic, I would love to share and discuss subjects outside of my comfort zone. As a curious person, I planned to continue learning from others all my life. I also love travelling and discovering new cultures and I consider myself fluent in English as I lived in Australia, England and am now in Singapore.
