Strategist, business developer and recognized leader in the areas of Innovation and Sustainability. Mechanical engineer, MBA in administration and executive training (IMD, Singularity). He has worked for more than 40 years in large multinational and national companies (bases: Brazil, Canada, USA, Italy). Experienced as global CEO since 1998 (Tetra Pak, Aché, Intercement,GranBio and Hospital Sírio Libanês) and Board Member in several Corporations, Associations and NGOs, inside and outside Brazil, leading projects for growth, innovation and business transformation, including turn-around´s and IPO s. He is also known as a talent finder and booster. “I started my career in 1981 at Philips, followed by Goodyear and Aga in industrial, automotive and sales engineering positions. In 1991, I joined Tetra Pak through the commercial area and have occupied several positions in Brazil, CEO in Canada and Italy, VP LATAM and finally VP Americas, when I became member of the Tetra Pak Group´s leadership team. In 2014, Paulo decided to return to Brazil to take over as CEO of Aché Laboratórios, leader in the brazilian prescription medicine business. In 2018, Paulo thought it was time to start 'giving back' by dedicating time to consulting and advisory roles. “It was with this spirit that I joined InConnection Consulting as a senior partner, building Strategy Formulation for several corporations. Due to the accumulated experience in Pharma and Biotechnology, in early 2020, I took over as Global CEO of GranBio Biotech with the mission of driving the company's IPO process for the brazilian stock exchange ”. In December 2021, I have joined Hospital Sírio Libanês with the mission to accelerate sustainable and profitable growth in the field of Excellence Health Care. Currently, Paulo continues to participate on few boards of companies and institutions. He is also a start-up investor.
