About Pavan Nookala

Technical Program Manager in Azure @ Microsoft (LTIMindtree), responsible for leading Storage Buildouts for Azure Capacity Management, and deploying new features in Storage Test to verify and validate its 100% functionality. Worked in COSMOS from 2016 to 2021(Azure Data Lake Platform) which runs the largest YARN cluster with Exabytes of data on a planet where the cluster has hundreds of thousands of nodes. I am responsible for Co-ordinating Azure Capacity needs for first party customers like C&E, WDG, IOT, AIR,office365, CXP, Bing etc. in Autopilot, Pilotfish, Blueshift and Airgap environments by collecting the demand signals & developing the Usage forecasts, Translating into hardware units with Optimal capacity Plan, getting approvals from finance, planning the Hardware units by coordinating with cloud supply chain planning Team & collaborating with engineering team (ADLA/ADLS) to fulfill the demand needs timely. Prior to that from 2011 to 2015, had an opportunity to work on windows azure buildouts for building compute, Storage & DDC clusters across the globe in public, private & hybrid environments.
